Method
- Lay out your wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place one slice of pepperoni in the center of each wrapper.
- Top each pepperoni slice with about 2 teaspoons of shredded mozzarella, a tiny pinch of Italian seasoning, and a dash of garlic powder.
- Dip your finger in water and wet the edges of each wonton wrapper. Fold corner to corner to make a triangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Place the pizza rolls in a single layer in the basket (don't let them touch). Spray the tops generously with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Shake the basket halfway through for even browning.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan immediately after cooking. Serve hot with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Press the edges firmly when sealing — any gap means the cheese leaks out and the pepperoni oil makes a mess. Wet edges with water, then press with a fork for the most secure seal. Don't overfill — 1 pepperoni + 2 teaspoons cheese is the right amount. These cook fast so set a timer. The wonton wrappers go from golden to burnt in less than a minute.
